Why more needs to be done in New Zealand for people with dementia

“It’s time to talk about dementia and it’s time to give people the level of care and support they deserve.” In New Zealand many of our dementia services are underfunded, carers are overworked and there is little commitment from our government when it comes to having a plan and financial support. Henry Simmons from @Alzheimer Scotland explains how they got it right and Lisa Burns from @Dementia Auckland talks about the work that’s yet to be done here in New Zealand.
